Blood and Roses - Ch. 18As we rode in the car I looked at the people we passed. I watched the clouds that blocked the sun’s rays. I took in the environment that I would not see again, and would not miss. I took it all in, for the final time and soon we arrived at the airport. I got out of the car and began walking towards the jet with Logan. Before I boarded, though, I took one last look back. I saw the distant skyline of Baltimore, I saw the airport, and the heavy dark clouds that hovered over the cold and lifeless city. I smiled and turned back, boarding the Jet with Logan.
